In 2018, Art director for the short film "Ausencia," which won awards and received nominations at over 35 film festivals, including prestigious events like the Amiens Film Festival and the Guadalajara Film Festival, showcasing her talent.

In 2020, she became the art director for the feature film "Today Rain," a project that secured funding through the Mintic state call and is scheduled to be released in 2024.

In 2022, she served as the artistic director for the theatrical production "Negra me dicen," a project that won the Iberescena call and was a collaboration between El Salvador and Colombia. That same year marked the premiere of her first film as a Production designer , "Entrevista Laboral," an FDC project, at the Tallin Film Festival, a prestigious event as one of the fourteen Class A festivals.

Her latest cinematic project, "Traitors," a co-production with Argentina and Israel, is currently in post-production. This international initiative highlights her recognition and collaboration on a global scale.

Daniela Acosta's creative work revolves around building a visual memory in the spaces inhabited by the protagonists of her works. Her primary goal is to capture visual reality in all its forms, encapsulating the essence of the human experience in relation to the spaces we inhabit.
